I painted this Laguna seascape to enter into the Southern California Plein Air Painters' Association (SoCalPAPA) "New Impressions of "Orange County"" show. This sunset at Heisler Park certainly impressed me! The jury must have agreed, and selected this work to exhibit at Kennedy Contemporary Gallery in Newport Beach in May 2025. I was honored to have my little painting included among incredible pieces from 25 other esteemed Southern California artists! Many thanks to Kennedy Contemporary and SoCalPAPA for including me in this prestigious show.
